"youth against nature" This is a REISSUE of the 1997 album of the monsters with the same title and almost the same cover… there where only 1000 pressed that time and vinyl only , now we thought to make a reissue of this one and the first time on CD as well !!! for the recordings they where to London’s Toe Rag Studios, and they where one of the first foreign band who recorded with liam watson .. and Josh Collins also shot a video clip in the studio for one song (Voodoo Love) send us a e-mail and we send out the clip.. The Monsters started in 1986 and Youth against nature was the album after ‘Jungle Noise’ in 1995, that means they passed already the Garage Punk Area and went into the voodoo Primitive Rock’n’Roll Garage Punk Trash Area … with this album, with Cosmic Belly dance there’s a fantastic sleazy strip number on it ant the only cover version of this album is ‘züri brönnt’ by Switzerland’s punk rock legend TNT… the whole album still is a totally burner, the recordings are just fantastic and have the typical Toe Rag Sound, it’s kind of that vintage sound liam has mixed with a fantastic drum sound… this is not a reissues like other reissues, it’s still very up to date i thing and hits the right spot.. and still have some great songs on it. like the live classics : high heels and miniskirt’ or burn my mind’ or other songs that never did it to a live show like ‘my mother told my’ recorded: Toe Rag Studios 1997 mastersed:

Classic Horror Trash from the wild and evel band fronted by Lightning Beat-Man ,a former solo artist, but a force to be reckoned with (and to get wrecked with and to contemlate your rectum with) when he's surroundet by spooky musicians well versed in scary 50's rockabilly creepy 60's garage and ancient Transylvanian alchemy. |

THE MONSTERS - "Youth against Nature" |

In

CD re-release of the Monsters’ formerly vinyl-only classick from ’95 or so. Recorded at now legendary Toe Rag studios (White Stripes are fond of the joint) in London, “Youth Against Nature” is raw, primitive, spit n’ gristle horror-garage slop c/o the good Reverend Beat Man hisself, who both strokes the gut-bucket guitar and howls like a teenage Alice Frankenstein. There’s a cuppla other monstrosities here too- Di Putto thrashes and crashes away on the skins- and when the Monsters say ‘skins’, they mean SKINS, if ya dig me- and one Janosh, on a bass so fuzzy and worm-like, you can only envision J crawlin’ around the floor of Toe Rag like an alcoholic caterpillar during these sessions. Dude, this whole fuckin’ record just sounds like a crazy cartoon motorcycle gang barreling down a Satanic highway. It is exactly what happens when a buncha cats that have wasted their entire lives hanging out at record stores hustling up vintage 60’s garage-punk ‘nuggets’ and drinking their way to oblivion on ratty couches watching grainy Russ Meyer bootlegs finally get around to making a little retro sick-rawk noise themselves. I mean, these fuckers were READY, ya know? As such, everything you’d want outta this kind o’ stuff is here. It’s a zombiebilly death-surf freakbeat meltdown, and, as you have come to expect from Mr Beatman, it makes zero amount of sense- but gloriously so. Highlight? Oh, the instro acid-lounge spaceman boogie of “Cosmic Belly Dance”, of course. How could it not be? |

Go Away - Fuck Yourself"、"Take A Trip To My Grave"、"Gozilla"あたり。 |
