Formed in 2000 as a Theatre and Poetry Slam Project , played and recorded Music for Swiss Poet PEDRO LENZ , and Theater Director MATTO KAEMPF and transformed trough the years into a BAD TASTE LOWBROW MUSIC MONSTER …. Beat-Man ( Reverend Beat-Man, the Monsters ) Olifr.M.Guz ( die Aeronauten, GUZ ) and Patrick Abt ( Bigger Club) had One splendid Idea, not to rehearsal once for DIE ZORROS and going straight into the studio with only skelets of ideas in the heads of songs or cover versions ,then push the recording bottom .. that means.. 10 minutes working quick at the structure of the song idea and then record it ( Olifr.M.Guz recorded everything, running from the organ to the recording desk and Back ).. if the song at the end is 2 minutes, they worked 12 minutes on writing and recording.. with one word DIE ZORROS ARE THE FASTEST WORKING BAND IN THE WHOLE GALAXIE , and definitely should be in the Guiness Book of Records 2012

| 04.05.02 / Hinter den Masken der Zorros verbergen sich unter anderen Aeronaut Big Olifr M. Guz und der Berner Rock'n'Roll-Priester Reverend Beatman (Besitzer des «Voodoo Rhythm»-Labels). Diese glorreichen Rächer fuchteln nicht nur gnadenlos mit ihren musikalischen Floretten, sie schlagen auch hart, sie schlagen zurück. Wer The Zorros heisst, weiss: Das als Gute verkleidete Schlechte muss mit seinen eigenen Waffen geschlagen werden. Das Trio covert darum Gassenhauer um üblen Gassenhauer (von «The Final Countdown» an abwärts ist alles drin); dabei wird lediglich aus der Erinnerung rekonstruiert. Weil Üben ist für Spiesser. Und das Schlechte wird gut. Und ein wilder Spass obendrein! |
